EVENT: GARDEN MASTERCLASS TALK AT TUINEN MIEN RUYS

I spent a wonderful couple of days in the Netherlands recently, giving a talk to a group of professionals and keen amateurs at the Mien Ruys gardens in Dedemsvaart. The event was organised by Garden Masterclass, with time to reflect in the gardens and a wonderful tour by volunteer Christine also worked into the schedule.

My talk focussed on the various people I had met during my journey of writing my book on Mien, plus other lives that she had influenced during her long career. It was inspiring to be around a group of Mien enthusiasts and we even had special permission to stay in the gardens after hours and have a glass of wine - a real treat!
